Ms. Yokley has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tennessee State University and a Master of Science in Public Health from Meharry Medical College. Ms. Yokley was hired in began her employment at Matthew Walker in January 2019. As the Center Director, Ms. Yokley develops, coordinates, and implements the AHEC Scholars’ program, and actively participates in all evaluation methods and reporting requirements. MS. Yokley also implements the clinical recruitment and retention plan for Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center which includes creating a pipeline for students that have completed the AHEC program toward viable employment. From 2000 until 2016, she served as Program Director/Health Education Coordinator for the Minority Organ Tissue Transplant Education Program of Tennessee in Nashville, Tennessee. She has also served as Lead Faculty Area Chair and Adjunct Professor in the College of Health Professions at the University of Phoenix in Nashville, Tennessee. Ms. Yokley is truly dedicated to improving and promoting quality health education in the state of Tennessee.
